Ayo, our beloved great-grandfather, was born and lived in the southern part of Turkey, the Kurdish region, between 1891-1990.
We would like to show our respect to the memory of this honoured, diligent, trustworthy and sensitive person. As his grandchildren, we try to perpetuate his lifestyle and work ethic when managing our restaurant, bringing to you the culture and tastes from the region, as we have learned from Ayo himself.
We are three brothers working together and following our great-grandfather’s footsteps as a family-owned business, proud to be independent.
Using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients, and taking great inspiration from our heritage and ancient Kurdish, Turkish and Anatolian cooking techniques, our aim is to provide a true taste of our homeland.
As Ayo’s restaurant, we created a dining area where we can welcome our guests and make them feel at home. Our love of food brings us here today and we would like to carry on this story with you.
